Sketchbook Glimpse
This is what my sketchbook looks like when I'm trying to write a story. A mix of random words and images, just trying to capture everything in the hope that something works.
Here is a page I where I was working on the "look" of my main character.
and when i just sit down to sketch, things like this usually pop out,
I really liked the witch character and have turned her into an illustration friday submission as well as a story I'm working on.

Those are some fantastic pages Courtney! I don't know why you were so worried about sketching animals-your pig is fantastic! Inspiring, maybe I'll finally get to work on one of the dummies I have floating around in my head.

I LOVE your characters so much Courtney. they always posess a great deal of personality and the ones that look out at the reader have that "What!?, Me? No!" look to them. :)

Courtney, your sketches are really inspiring to look at. The pigs would make a great picture to hang on a wall - make you smile every time you look at them. And I like the witch too, great face!
