Very creative approach. She's some chick that Pippi.
I really love the colors and line quality of your background. The house lines are thick and strong and I think maybe if you beefed Pippi's outlines to match she would pop a bit more!
Whoa, you really captured Pippi! This is really, really great. I love her expression and the fluidity of her movement.
I also love the background with the houses, they are too cool. The lines are amazing, and I agree with Tricia, that maybe if you outlined Pippi in the same way, she might pop a bit more.
Great job! Such a unique take on this that works really well!
Great jacket cover, me thinks too! And I immediately thought of Van Gigh, but in a good way. This style gives the book a nice Europena, folktale feel to the piece.
I wondered about the hot pinky background, and thought that's what might be drowning Pippi rather than making her pop. Perhaps tone down the saturation and she'll thrust forward. The orange is such a nice contrast to the blu, that it is almost fighting for lace of prominence with the pink at this point. Good job and I love her immense strength in holding up that horse!

I love the Van Gogh-like countryside! Pippi's enthusiasm matches her bright outfit wonderfully. (I love her boots.)
The only thing I might change is to integrate Pippi a little more in the background. Right now, she's floating in front of it.
This is a wonderful cover. I love how your style is influenced by the masters.

I would have never thought of that. Great job.
