animal magic

So here's something totally unrelated to any of my book projects but it is animal related. It's for a trade with Sarah — she made a spectacular Octopus for Liv. We named him Ollie!

Red Foxy isn't finished (a work in progess) but has definitely been fun to work on. Actually, I took everyone's advice about taking a break from my book work. It's acrylics on collage on maple cradled wood. I still have linework to add, and I want to work on the background some more. Hope it looks okay when it's finished. I never know how these things will turn out or if the recipient will like it - fingers crossed!

I love this little guy! I've been on a bit of a fox kick lately too...those bushy tails get me every time.

Love this!! It's wonderful. Is it acrylic on canvas? Really, really cute! You've inspired me to try some artwork for hanging!

I'm doing a swap with a fox theme too.

Hi Leeza
Already love it as it is! Very cute, nice composition, lovely to add the stars, and the tail of the fox is awesome with how the white blends into the red. I'm not sure if you should do much more with it? Does it really need lines? Maybe just a bit more finishing on the backgrund, that's it' I'd say...
