Another hurrah!

I was accepted into the Rutgers Council on Children's Literature One-on-One conference in October. I'm so nervous because I hear all sorts of wonderful things about the day. There will be oodles of editors, art directors, illustrators and authors and we as attendees get them all to ourselves for an entire day. Gotta go prepare some new work of course ... oh my, it's a month away! It's also on a very special friend of mine's birthday so that has to be a good sign!

• I'm giving a FREE 4-hour workshop on Sat. Sept 29. How to get started, promote yourself, make contact with publishing houses and create dummies for children's literature. Door prizes, and lots of fun - guaranteed! If you wish to attend and want to know more, just e-mail me.
